Including your iOS version and the text from Settings › About › “Export diagnostics” helps a lot.
Common questions
- The service won't start. Restart the app and enable the service again. If it still fails, run the setup wizard again
from the menu.
- The test coordinate doesn't take effect. Make sure the TestPin certificate is both installed and trusted in
Settings › General › About › Certificate Trust Settings, then turn Location Services off and on in
Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services so iOS looks up its location again. Outdoors with a good GPS
signal, iOS may prefer GPS over the test coordinate; test indoors.
- Back to the real location. Tap "Clear" in Location Test, or wait for the auto-restore time you chose.
The next lookup returns your real position.
- Saved places. Saving test coordinates is a TestPin PRO feature.
- Deleting your data. Settings › Data & privacy › Delete all local data in the app erases test
coordinates, saved places, settings and logs. It does not cancel an App Store subscription.
- Subscriptions. Manage or cancel in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Use "Restore Purchases" in the app after reinstalling.
